How to Make a Baby Sleep Sack

Guys, heating a house is expensive. And honestly, I love sleeping in a warm bed and the air around me cold..er. But with two little boys, I’m always worried they will be freezing, and you can’t give a baby a blanket, so what is a mom to do?

Answer: Make a Sleep Sack, aka a wearable blanket.

Now I don’t have to worry about my youngest getting cold at night AND the dangers of a baby using a blanket. This is a safer option and I know it won’t fall off of him at night.

At first, I just bought one from the store but as my son grows he needs a bigger one to sleep in so I thought this would be the perfect time to make one! Then I get to customize it with cute fabric and a colorful zipper!

This time around I picked a more neutral color palette and I love how it turned out. It is so soft and warm, I want to fall asleep with it!
