How to Chicka Chicka Bum Bum Bummies, Shorts, and Skirt

If you haven’t noticed, I love sewing for my kids, or kids in general. The projects are usually so quick and easy and they don’t take much fabric so its usually not that expensive.

I have been loving the patterns and fabric from Peek-a-boo Pattern and Fabric shop. She is always coming out with new patterns and getting new fabric. It can be so addicting! When she posted about these bummies I knew they would be perfect for my boys. So I set out to make tutorials for the. I made a tutorial to make the bummies and shorties and than another tutorial to show how to make the skirt version.

I really love how all three of these turned out and made a few more over the summer. I even did a matching set for all the cousins (four boys) on my husbands side of the family. I am a sucker for matching outfits and these Euro style swim shorts were the cutest!
