Top 15 PDF Pattern Shops
Trying new patterns is always so much fun! And even though I always want to make multiple of a pattern I also want to keep trying new things. So I’m always trying new patterns. The big four, aka the patterns sold at Joann stores, are wonderful and I will always buy them. But sometimes it’s nice to buy a pattern online that is new, different, and sometimes fits BETTER than any other patterns because it has been tested by many people of alllll different sizes. So I wanted to share my 10 favorite places to buy PDF patterns.
These are some of the best patterns I have ever worked with. They are so detailed and explain each step so well. I have bottom multiple patterns from them and everyone is so good. I want to buy more just because the quality is so amazing.
I love these quick and easy patterns for the whole family. I typically buy their patterns for my kids but I have loved the few I have gotten for myself.
3. Love Notions
This shop has some amazing “basic” patterns. I have been bar\tech sewing the classic tee because it it my go to outfit with a great pair of jeans.
I haven’t sewn with her patterns yet, but I’m excited to try her new swimsuit pattern this next week! She has mannnny great options.
5. Indie Sew
The Holy grail of pdf sewing patterns. Many people sell their patterns through Indie Sew. They have so many great options and recommendations!
I love the relaxed comfy vibe of all of these patterns. They are very in with the indie trend going on. I have sewed the hinterland dress and really loved working with the pattern.
If you are into sewing children’s clothing than this is the place for you. So many cute options with a mix of basics to more intricate makes.
The rest of these pattern companies I have never boughten from before but I have heard so many people rave about them that I had to include them in the post. There are sooooo many good patterns out there. I always want to buy more and try them all out. But I’m trying to pace myself and not spend all my money on patterns…there is always fabric to buy too 🤣
