I’m getting so excited for Christmas and just can’t wait to do allllll the Christmas crafts! I’m already getting started and pinning all the things I want to make. It might be an addiction. But I wanted to share the BEST and CUTEST things you can make with or in the shape of a stocking!
I love how Heather from Heather Handmade always comes up with the cutest upcycles or refashions and these stockings are no different. They are a great way to reuse a sweater you don’t wear anymore or one that holds special memories for you!
How cute are these mini stockings that Caroline from Sew Can She made? I’m loving how little and cute they are and feel like they would be a great scrap buster. I would love to make these to put little gifts in for the neighbors!
You know I love those bright colors so I had to include this beautiful stocking garland that Damjana from Apple Green Cottage created! I am obsessed with garlands and I love the idea of doing it with colorful stockings like this!
I love the look of felted wool, especially with decorations so these felted wool stockings are such a beautiful touch! Lisa from Cucicucicoo does an amazing job showing how to embroider those beautiful snowflakes, making me want to start embroidering allll the things!
For years I have been wanting to try paper piecing but have yet to actually try it out, but Emily from Life Sew Savory really shows how easy it is to make these gorgeous paper pieced stockings! I love how you can use all these different fabrics together to create unique and fun stockings.
Uhm what kid wouldn’t LOVE to have their favorite animal or stuffed animal on their stocking! How fun would it be to make one each year to really show off your child’s personality and how it changes. I love how creative Stephanie from Swoodson Says is!
Don’t have young kids anymore? Or just have a kid that looooves money? These cute little stockings are perfect to hang on the tree, give a little gift of money, or just a little treat! Anne from Orange Betti created the coolest stocking to hang on a door! This would be a great alternative to a wreath or I also thought it would be fun to place a stocking over a wreath! The possibilities are endless with this!
You know those old jeans that you have thought about mending but just haven’t gotten around to? Why not upcycle them and make a beautiful rustic stocking! Vicky from Vicky Myer Creations did a wonderful job using an old pair of jeans and hand stitching to make this beautiful stocking!
For anyone who loves ice skating these darling stockings are the perfect holiday touch! I love adding in a hobby or something you love to really personalize a stocking! Chelsea from Sew Simple Home created a beautiful old fashioned Christmas feeling with these stockings.

Scrap busting projects are always the best and this one is just too cute! I love how she even shares a cute printable of the service project idea.
And lastly I had to share my cute Stocking Advent Calendar. I love how this turned out and my boys are already waiting for the day when they can start actually counting down the days until Christmas!
