How to Sew a Swimsuit — inserting the bra cups — Swimsuit Sewbration Sewalong Day 6
At this point you should have a fully lined swimsuit that has elastic every where except the front neckline. We left that open so that now you can try the suit on and place the bra cups exactly where you want them. Doing it this late in the swimsuit making process helps to make sure they are correctly placed and won’t end up in some weird position.

Today in our swimsuit making journey, we are going to walk through the steps of inserting the elastic. This is usually the most tricky step for people but with some practice it does get easier! If you start getting frustrated pull out some scrap fabric and practice a few more times before you do the final project. And even then you can always unpick elastic and reinsert it!
