    DIY Valentine Envelope Chair Covers

When January hits my mind goes straight to cleaning and organizing all the things. I want to take all the Christmas decorations down but then it tends to feel so blah and lifeless in my house, especially with it being so cold and dreary outside too. That’s why I love to add in some fun and colorful Valentines decorations. They add a little fun to the space while still keeping it simple, and who doesn’t love pops of red, pink and white! For a few years I kept seeing these awesome Valentines chair covers that I loved and knew I had to make, it just never happened. Until this year!…

I love chatting and hearing all about the plans everyone has made for 2020, especially when it has to do with sewing. I love making a few big plans so I can remember what I really want to be focusing and not get too distracted by all the other pretty things I see.. although those are fun to sew too! I shared a full video with all the details on what I want to focus on this year!

    My Everyday Statement Top

I always dream of making dresses and having a whole closet of beautiful, but also very functional, dresses. But then I sew a dress and it is beautiful and fabulous but only gets worn for special occasions and church on Sunday’s and I wonder why did I even do that if I’m not going to wear it more often. This realization has led me to reach for patterns I will actually wear more often, like every single day, if I could. At this point in life I’m a comfy top and jeans kinda girl.

A Sewists Review of the Cricut Explore Air 2

For a while I had only used a Silhouette Cameo 3 to cut out my projects but I kept hearing all…

The Ultimate Holiday Gift Guide for people who LOVE to Sew!

Every Christmas as a kid we would get one big present and a few little ones to go with it. I remember most of the time the big gift was left until the end to open, unless the item was physically too big, then it was the first thing seen. For my husbands family the big gift was front and center, usually not wrapped, and considered the present that Santa left for them. With our kids still being so young we are still figuring out what our traditions are but I have always loved the excitement and anticipation of a big present. I wanted to put a list together of…
